At Bark Side Graphics, transparency, care, and quality are at the heart of everything we do. This page outlines our store policies regarding orders, shipping, cancellations, refunds, and more — so you know exactly what to expect when you shop with us.
Orders & Processing
All of our products are made to order with care. Once an order is placed, production begins shortly after.

Processing time: 3–5 business days before shipment

Order accuracy: Please double-check your information (shipping address, size, design choice, etc.) before checkout

Once production begins, we’re unable to make changes or cancellations beyond the 24-hour grace period
Custom Portrait Commissions
All portrait commissions are custom, hand-drawn digital artworks created specifically for each client. Because of the personalized nature of commission work, all requests are subject to review, confirmation, and availability before being accepted.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a commission and reserve time in our schedule. This deposit is applied toward the final total cost of the portrait. Work on a commission will not begin until the deposit payment has been received and confirmed. The remaining balance is due once the portrait is completed and before final high-resolution files are delivered.
Commissions may be cancelled with a full refund only if work has not yet begun. Once the commission process has started, the deposit becomes non-refundable, even if the client chooses to cancel. Due to the custom nature of commissioned artwork, completed portraits are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered.
Turnaround time varies depending on commission complexity and how many commissions are scheduled ahead of yours. Estimated timelines will always be communicated and confirmed prior to payment. More complex requests, such as multiple subjects or detailed compositions, may require additional time.
All commissioned artwork is delivered as a high-resolution digital file unless otherwise agreed upon. Physical products or merchandise featuring commissioned artwork are offered only when selected as add-ons and confirmed during the approval process.

Shipping Policy
We ship all orders from southern Ontario, Canada using Chit Chats, which partners with several trusted carriers to ensure reliable delivery across the country.

Estimated delivery time: 3–5 business days within most of Canada (remote areas may take longer)

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order is on its way

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on your province
Please note: once your order leaves our facility, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. Bark Side Graphics is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages during transit.

Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled within a 24-hour grace period from the time of purchase.
After that window, we begin processing and cannot cancel or modify the order.
Custom portrait commissions are subject to separate cancellation terms outlined in the Custom Portrait Commissions section above.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final. We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges at this time.

Due to their custom nature, portrait commissions are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Refund eligibility is governed by the Custom Portrait Commissions policy.
Liability & Order Documentation
Once your order leaves our facility, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. Bark Side Graphics is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages during transit.
To ensure transparency and protect both our customers and our business from disputes, we photograph each order before and after packaging. This confirms that your items were packed correctly and in proper condition before shipment.
If your package arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. We’re happy to provide copies of pre-shipment photos upon request to assist with your claim.
Payment
We accept secure payments through Wix Payments, which allows customers to pay using major credit and debit cards.
